Foundations is a full-body strength and flexibility workout based on movements commonly seen in gymnastics, calisthenics, strength training, and other disciplines. This class is planned and organized in order to gradually progress from basic exercises to complex movements safely and effectively.
Core & Flexibility
Core & Flexibility targets the two most glaring deficiencies in most adults: lack of core strength and mobility. This class is beginner-friendly and also serves as an active recovery workout for more experienced trainees. We start with a full-body warm-up, progress into a core strength circuit, then stretch.
Prehab is a beginner-friendly class designed for the health and longevity of your joints. Our aim is to strengthen what is weak and stretch what is tight. This class is a mixture of strength and flexibility work to address the imbalances many people have from years of sedentary living, improper training, and desk work.
Rings is an intermediate class geared towards helping you feel more comfortable on the rings. We help build your ring strength in 360 degrees, working on shoulder mobility, core strength, and body awareness along the way. Pre-requisites for this class include being able to complete a pull-up and a dip on the rings.
Handstand is an intermediate class geared towards helping you feel more comfortable upside-down. We build your handstand from the ground up, working on shoulder mobility, core strength, and body awareness. Pre-requisites for this class include being able to kick up to a handstand against the wall.
Movement is a blend of gymnastics tumbling, circus acrobatics, and dance technique. Shawn Stone draws upon his two decades of teaching experience to lead a beginner-friendly class geared towards developmental movement efficiency, bodily awareness, and fun exploration in this holistic approach to fitness.
Apparatus is a fusion of gymnastics, circus acrobatics, and our inner desire to climb and swing on things. Shawn Stone calls upon his experience of making this desire a professional career to lead a beginner-friendly and developmental class focused on safely maneuvering the body upon various forms of apparatus.
Open Gym is available to members who are enrolled in Personal Training or Group Classes. During Open Gym hours, members will be able to use the space for their own training in a safe, responsible, and respectful manner. Note that Personal Training sessions and Group Classes always take priority over Open Gym members in terms of access to equipment and space.
